We are gearing up for our Spring 2017 Session which is right around the corner, beginning the week of March 13. In order to receive the early registration rate, registrations and payments must be received by Friday, March 3.
Below are the class descriptions, dates, details, and registration information for classes at St. Bartholomew’s School. Please review the registration instructions and program information in order to register your athlete.

-snack to eat before class
-change of clothes (if necessary based on activity or weather). There is no specific required clothing. This is up to your discretion.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION AT ST. BARTHOLOMEW’S SCHOOL
Early registrations AND payments must be received by March 3 for the early registration rate to apply.
If you have more than one child participating in the same activity, you can save time when registering by typing your children’s first names in the “First Name” template of the registration form. This way, only one form will need to be filled out per activity. Likewise, if you have a child who would like to participate in more than one activity, you can type the various activities in the “Activity” template.

SPRING 2017 YOUTH ACTIVITIES AT ST BARTHOLOMEW’S SCHOOL
Our athletes will review the techniques of the game through drills and scrimmages.
Boys and Girls Grades PK-2
All equipment for this class is provided.
Dates and Location: 10 Classes, Mondays 3:15pm-4:15pm, in the Gym/Lower Field

Wiffle balls, tennis balls and dense yarn balls will be used for throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, etc., depending on the activity. Our goal is to improve hand-eye coordination, base running, as well as teach proper fundamentals such as using two hands when catching and fielding the ball. We will also introduce and reinforce baseball rules to the kids.

Equipment: Students have the option of bringing gloves.
Dates and Location: 11 Classes, Wednesdays 3:15pm-4:15pm in the Gym/Lower Field.

JUMP ROPE FITNESS
This is a new offering at St. Bart’s. Jumping rope is a great fitness activity for boys and girls. Students will learn various jump rope styles, while having a great time! The benefits of jumping rope include coordination, stamina, and building endurance.
All skill levels are welcome.
Our curriculum includes:
*Jumping with a small single rope individually.
*Jumping with a large single rope as a group.
*Double Dutch, which consist of jumping with two ropes.
*Core Exercises (Planks, Side Planks, Push-ups, etc.)
